Intercity
services run from London and Edinburgh, and Arriva Trains provides
a cross country service. Depending upon which direction you are
travelling from, stop at either York or Darlington and change trains
to Middlesbrough; take the Esk Valley line, the route stops off
at all the villages in the National Park that line the river Esk,
